Theme Block Installation
Theme Blocks are the recommended way to add Convertiko FAQ to your store. They work with every Shopify theme and give you complete control over placement.

Step-by-Step Installation
Step 1: Open Theme Editor
- Go to your Shopify admin
- Navigate to Online Store → Themes
- Click Customize on your active theme
Step 2: Navigate to Product Template
- In the top dropdown, click on the page selector
- Choose Products
- Select Default product (or your custom product template)
Multiple Templates
If you have different templates for different products, repeat this process for each template where you want FAQs to appear.
Step 3: Add the Block
- In the left sidebar, find the Product information section
- Click Add block at the bottom of the section
- Scroll down to find Apps
- Click on Convertiko FAQ
The block will be added to your product page.
Step 4: Position the Block
Drag the Convertiko FAQ block to your desired position. We recommend:
Best positions:
- Below the product description
- Above customer reviews
- Below the "Add to cart" button
Avoid placing:
- At the very top of the page
- Hidden in collapsed sections
- Below the fold where users won't scroll
Step 5: Save Your Changes
Click Save in the top right corner. Your FAQ block is now installed!
Verifying Installation
After saving:
- Go to the Convertiko FAQ dashboard
- Navigate to Content → Products
- Generate FAQ for any product
- Visit that product page on your store
- You should see the FAQ panel in your chosen position
Troubleshooting
Block Not Appearing?
- Check the theme editor - Make sure the block is actually added and saved
- Check product has content - The block only shows if the product has generated FAQ content
- Check you're on the right template - If you have multiple product templates, ensure the block is on the correct one
- Clear your browser cache - Sometimes old cached pages don't show new blocks
Block in Wrong Position?
Simply go back to the theme editor and drag the block to a new position. Changes appear immediately after saving.
Want Different Positions for Different Products?
Create multiple product templates in your theme, each with the Convertiko FAQ block in different positions. Then assign the appropriate template to each product.
Advanced: Multiple FAQ Blocks
You can add the Convertiko FAQ block to multiple locations:
- Product pages - Show product-specific FAQs
- Collection pages - Show general FAQs about the category
- Homepage - Show featured product FAQs
Each location will display FAQs relevant to the context.
