Generating FAQ Content
Convertiko FAQ uses advanced AI to analyze your products and generate conversion-focused questions and answers automatically.
How It Works
When you click Generate, our AI:
- Analyzes your product - title, description, variants, pricing
- Identifies common questions - What customers typically ask about similar products
- Creates conversion-focused answers - Designed to reduce hesitation and build confidence
- Generates a summary - A compelling overview that highlights key benefits
Generating Your First FAQ
Step 1: Go to Content
In your Convertiko dashboard, click Content in the navigation, then Products.
Step 2: Find Your Product
Browse or search for the product you want to generate FAQ for. Products are synced from your Shopify catalog.
Product Quality
Better product descriptions lead to better FAQs. If your product has a detailed description, the AI has more to work with.
Step 3: Click Generate
Click the Generate button on any product. The AI will analyze your product and generate:
- Summary: A compelling 2-3 sentence overview
- Questions: 5-7 relevant FAQ questions with answers
Step 4: Review and Save
Review the generated content:
- Edit any questions or answers if needed
- Remove questions that aren't relevant
- Reorder questions by priority
- Click Save to publish
The FAQ will immediately appear on your product page.
Generation Options
Tone Selection
Choose how your FAQs sound:

Question Count
Adjust how many questions to generate:
- Minimum: 3 questions
- Default: 5 questions
- Maximum: 10 questions
Quality Over Quantity
5-7 well-targeted questions typically outperform 10 generic ones. Focus on questions that address real purchase hesitations.
Focus Areas
Optionally specify what the AI should focus on:
- Shipping & Returns - Delivery times, return policy
- Product Details - Materials, dimensions, care
- Compatibility - Sizing, fit, works with
- Usage - How to use, best practices
- Comparison - vs. competitors, why choose this

Help the AI understand your market:

Bulk Generation
Generate FAQs for multiple products at once:
- Go to Content → Products
- Select multiple products using checkboxes
- Click Bulk Generate
- Choose generation options
- Wait for processing (typically 2-5 seconds per product)
Credit Usage
Each generation uses credits from your plan. Bulk generation uses 1 credit per product.
Editing Generated Content
Editing Questions
- Click on any question to expand it
- Click the Edit icon
- Modify the question or answer text
- Click Save
Reordering Questions
Drag and drop questions to reorder them. Put your most important questions first—these are what customers see in carousel view.
Adding Questions Manually
- Click Add Question
- Type your question and answer
- Click Save
When to Add Manual Questions
Add manual questions for store-specific info the AI can't know, like:
- "Do you ship to [specific country]?"
- "Can I visit your showroom?"
- "Do you offer custom orders?"
Removing Questions
Click the delete icon on any question to remove it. Removed questions don't affect your credits.
Regenerating Content
If you're not happy with the generated content:
- Click Regenerate on the product
- Optionally adjust generation options
- New content will replace the existing content
WARNING
Regenerating will overwrite your existing FAQs, including any manual edits. Consider exporting first if you want to keep any content.
Content Best Practices
What Makes Great FAQ Content
Good questions:
- Address real purchase concerns
- Are specific to the product
- Match how customers actually phrase questions
Good answers:
- Start with a direct answer
- Provide specific details (measurements, timeframes)
- Build confidence with social proof or guarantees
Examples
Weak:
Q: Is this product good quality? A: Yes, it's very high quality.
Strong:
Q: How durable is the stitching on this bag? A: Every seam is triple-stitched with industrial-grade thread. We've tested bags to 50,000 flex cycles—that's about 10 years of daily use. Plus, our lifetime warranty covers any stitching failures.
Credit Usage
Different actions use different amounts of credits:

View your remaining credits in the dashboard header or Settings → Usage.
