Terms of Service ​

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Convertiko FAQ ("Service", "App") provided by Convertiko Labs ("we", "us", "our").

By installing or using Convertiko FAQ, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description ​

Convertiko FAQ is a Shopify application that:

  • Generates FAQ content for your product pages using AI
  • Displays FAQ panels on your online store
  • Tracks engagement and conversion metrics
  • Provides analytics and attribution data

2. Account & Access ​

2.1 Eligibility ​

You must have a valid Shopify store to use Convertiko FAQ. By installing the app, you confirm you have authority to bind your business to these Terms.

2.2 Account Security ​

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your Shopify account
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Notifying us of any unauthorized access

3. Subscription & Billing ​

3.1 Plans ​

We offer multiple subscription tiers with different features and limits. Current pricing is available at convertikolabs.com.

3.2 Billing ​

  • Subscriptions are billed through Shopify's billing system
  • Charges appear on your Shopify invoice
  • All amounts are in USD unless otherwise stated

3.3 Free Plan ​

The free plan includes limited features. No credit card is required.

3.4 Cancellation ​

You may cancel your subscription at any time by uninstalling the app. Upon cancellation:

  • Access continues until the end of your billing period
  • FAQ panels remain visible for 30 days
  • After 30 days, all content is removed from your store

3.5 Refunds ​

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@convertikolabs.com.

4. Acceptable Use ​

4.1 You May ​

  • Generate FAQ content for products you own or have rights to sell
  • Customize the appearance of FAQ panels
  • Edit, add, or remove generated content
  • Use analytics data for your business purposes

4.2 You May Not ​

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer the AI generation system
  • Share your account access with unauthorized parties
  • Generate content for products you don't have rights to sell
  • Use the Service to spread misinformation or harmful content
  • Exceed reasonable usage limits or abuse the system

4.3 Content Responsibility ​

You are responsible for all content displayed through Convertiko FAQ on your store, including:

  • AI-generated content (which you should review before publishing)
  • Manually added questions and answers
  • Ensuring accuracy of product information

5. Intellectual Property ​

5.1 Our IP ​

Convertiko FAQ, including its software, design, and documentation, is owned by Convertiko Labs. You receive a license to use the Service, not ownership.

5.2 Your Content ​

You retain ownership of:

  • Your product data
  • Custom questions and answers you write
  • Your brand assets and customizations

5.3 Generated Content ​

AI-generated FAQ content becomes your property upon generation. You may use, modify, and display it freely on your store.

5.4 Feedback ​

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide may be used by us to improve the Service without compensation.

6. Data & Privacy ​

6.1 Data Collection ​

Our data practices are described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you agree to our data practices.

6.2 Data Processing ​

We process your product data to generate FAQ content. This data is:

  • Sent securely to our AI provider
  • Not used to train AI models
  • Not shared with third parties for their own purposes

6.3 Customer Data ​

We collect anonymous session data from your store visitors for attribution tracking. We do not collect personal customer information.

7. Service Availability ​

7.1 Uptime ​

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability.

7.2 Modifications ​

We may modify the Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.

7.3 Discontinuation ​

We may discontinue the Service with 30 days notice. In such case, you will receive a prorated refund for unused subscription time.

8. Disclaimers ​

8.1 "As Is" Service ​

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8.2 AI Content ​

AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before it appears on your store.

8.3 Results ​

We do not guarantee specific results, including conversion rates, revenue increases, or ROI metrics. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

9. Limitation of Liability ​

9.1 Liability Cap ​

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9.2 Exclusions ​

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Lost profits or revenue
  • Loss of data
  • Business interruption
  • Third-party claims against you

10. Indemnification ​

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Convertiko Labs from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Content displayed on your store
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Infringement of third-party rights

11. Termination ​

11.1 By You ​

You may terminate by uninstalling the app at any time.

11.2 By Us ​

We may suspend or terminate your access if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in fraudulent activity
  • Fail to pay subscription fees
  • Abuse the Service or our support team

11.3 Effect of Termination ​

Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service ends immediately
  • We may delete your data after 30 days
  • Sections that should survive termination will remain in effect

12. Dispute Resolution ​

12.1 Governing Law ​

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

12.2 Informal Resolution ​

Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at support@convertikolabs.com to attempt informal resolution.

12.3 Jurisdiction ​

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

13. General ​

13.1 Entire Agreement ​

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Convertiko Labs.

13.2 Severability ​

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

13.3 Waiver ​

Failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.

13.4 Assignment ​

You may not assign these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations.

13.5 Changes ​

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
